I received an email on how the Consensus Bureau noted that there are about 980,000 illegal aliens in the city of Los Angeles. How come the Consensus Bureau have these numbers and our government's politicians pretends the problem isn't real? Are they working in the same country? At any rate, the email and figures sent me also indicate that 1 in 4 people in the City of Los Angeles are illegal aliens. I'm not certain if these figures are correct, but even 1 in 5 or 1 in 10 are too much, don't you think? No wonder that the State of California are once again billions of dollars in the red! The ERs & hospitals are quickly closing due to customers who stiff them for ER bills, which huge costs are passed on to insurance companies and patients (healthcare & insurance costs have sky-rocketed), large cities have housing crunches, schools & their budgets are over-whelmed with large numbers of children (many without any knowledge of English, which costs how much to translate and educate?), too many welfare recipient caused states budget problem, uninsured illegal drivers caused auto insurance costs to also sky-rocket, the State of California steals money from the gasoline taxes & other sources to off-set these costs, the infrastructure has deteriorated, cities & state roads are pot-hole ridden & cracked, etc., etc., etc. I don't think this is what we had in mind as citizens when we began social systems and infrastructures to take care of our citizens and legal residents.
I have all my politicians' email addresses and write them often advising them how problematic illegal aliens are and how this is my number one priority, and second is cutting taxes. I advise them how they've lost my family's vote if I can't take care of the problem immediately, which pretty much means that I don't vote for MOST incumbants in office.
Thanks for reading.
